The Story of the Founders
THE RINGS THAT BROUGHT A SHARED PASSION TO LIFE
Raised in two worlds that could not have been more different, Sarah grew up along the coast of New Jersey, while Honaida was raised in Egypt—a country affectionately known as Om El Donia, or "Mother of the World," where gold has long been woven into everyday life.
When Honaida moved to Miami, a simple compliment on one of her rings sparked a conversation.
"Where are they from?"
The answer became the beginning of Dahab Ra.
Curious to experience the country that had shaped Honaida's love for gold, Sarah traveled to Egypt. Together, they wandered through the historic gold markets of Alexandria and Cairo, met local artisans, and discovered a culture where jewelry is more than an accessory. It marks celebrations, honors milestones, and is passed from one generation to the next.
Somewhere between those conversations and the workshops that have preserved centuries of craftsmanship, a shared vision emerged: to share the beauty of Egyptian-made solid 18K gold while honoring the heritage behind every piece.
Our collections are designed to be worn every day, treasured for a lifetime, and passed on for generations to come.
